Cooperating School Districts, Inc. (CSD) is a consortium of school districts in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area. Our mission is to enhance educational opportunities for all children by providing exemplary service to our members.
CSD's assets are owned by member districts. Member school districts play a key role in the governance of CSD via the conference of superintendents and school board members, committees and the CSD executive committee.
Approximately 281,400 students in 486 schools receive CSD services. This represents nearly one-third of all Missouri students.

As the business arm of the Cooperating School Districts (CSD), Business Services is responsible for three self-supporting programs:
- Cooperative Purchasing
- Insurance Trust
- Financial Services
While the Financial Services and the Insurance Trust programs support CSD members, the Cooperative Purchasing program works independently of CSD. It provides services to public schools across Missouri. The Cooperative Purchasing program is a free service to all Missouri K-12 school districts.
